i’ve come to believe its willfull ignorance

ALRIGHT ALREADY!!! soooooooo…. my cousin reposted this bulletin, and it is soo ridiculous and uninformed that i had to make a rebuttle. we’ve all heard most of these rumors… RUMORS… so i just thought i’d come back with a few remarks as to why this bullletin is idiotic. so candice, listen up, hun.
i will first repost the bulletin she posted and then give my rebuttle after it:

6. His wife said that she WASN’T PROUD OF AMERICA until her husband started leading in the race.   (and this is our first lady?)
7. His friend and pastor at his church said that “America is run by rich white people.” and “God damn America.” etc.   …it sfunny how he only decided to abandon his church after the camera crews starting showing what was taught… he never had a problem going there until it became public.
nobody really talks about that, but naw go Obama lol
8. Has referred to someone as “A TYPICAL WHITE PERSON” if McCain said “typical black person” what do you think would happen?
9. He was only Tennessee’s senator for TWO YEARS, but yet we think he can run our country?

Spare me people, somebody that can’t even fucking respect the country he is running enough to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem… and that is now our president. GREAT JOB.


I could careless what his name sybolizes, it’s just a name. Who cares if it is after terrorists? It’s not like any of us chose our names!! So that argument will not be used by me. However, look at all the other aspects of his platform and his life. This is just what we needed, a president who stands for NOTHING America was founded on. George Washington is probably turning over in his grave. I DON’t CARE if he was black, white, mexican, purple, or orange polka dotted, HE DOESN’T RESPECT THIS COUNTRY OR BELIEVE IN GOD AND HE IS NOW OUR PRESIDENT. This country astounds me.

FIRST AND FOREMOST, you start off by saying the person you got this information from really knows her stuff….. LMAO! RFLMAO! please…. she doesnt even know what state obama was senator for…. its illinois, not tennessee, and it was for about 8.5 years and not two…. but im getting ahead of myself… NEXT… he doesnt wear an american flag. first of all, what the hell does this have to do with patriotism. do you wear an american flag lapel? then by golly you must hate this country! thats the logic you and your friend are using here. pretty childish.

your friends third claim is that he said “you dont have to like this country to run it” … well i simply cannot find this quote anywhere. so perhaps, as seems to be the case, she should check her sources a little bit better before making that claim.

FOURTH, he doesnt believe in god. wow people. wow. i mean he ends every speech with “god bless you and god bless america”… but i guess you wouldnt know that if you were only watching fox news.

there was actually a big controversy over a prayer obama had left at the Western Wall, or commonly called the Wailing Wall (the most sacred and holy place to people of Jerusalem)..

people leave their prayers there and its a very private thing, but someone stole his letter to God and published it.

it reads: “lord, protect my family and me. forgive me my sins and help me guard against pride and despair. give me the wisdom to do what is right and just. and make me an instrument of your will.” so if thats NOT believing in god, then someone should tell me what is…

your friends fifth comment “he believes in black liberation theology” ….. SO WHAT?! if i was black i would believe in black liberation, just like im a female and believe in female liberation!! just like christians believe in a religious liberation, just like people believe in a scientific liberation, just like 18 year old kids in the 60s believed in liberation for young adults, just like pretty much every main movement in history. thats like saying “he knows he’s black… and is PROUD of it!!” omg run away please. the antichrist is here.

number six, here is michelle obamas actual quote since your well educated friend couldnt find it: “What we have learned over this year is that hope is making a comeback. It has made me proud.” yeah that really sounds unpatriotic. fuck ive never felt proud of this country in my adult life until tuesday night, so its really not that hard for me to listen to that statement and not take it the wrong way. heres her rebuttle once the media spinned this comment out of context: “What I was clearly talking about is that I am proud in how Americans are engaging in the political process.” … “I mean everyone has said what I said, in that we haven’t seen these record numbers of turnouts, people who are paying attention, going to rallies, watching debates.For the first time in my lifetime I am seeing people rolling up their sleeves in way that I haven’t seen and really trying to figure this out, and that’s the source of pride I was talking about.” thats right!!! go michelle!! these are things to be proud of and disappointed about when they’re not happening. couldnt agree more.

number 7, obamas pastor said “america is run by rich white people”. IT IS!!! helloooo, where have you been living for the past ohh„ 400 years?! theres this thing called history. check it out man. pretty groovy.

number 8, referred to someone as a “typical white peson”…. first of all, he was talking about his 80 something yr old grandmother. “The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, you know, there’s a reaction that’s been bred in our experiences that don’t go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that’s just the nature of race in our society. We have to break through it. What makes me optimistic is you see each generation feeling less like that. And that’s pretty powerful stuff. ” umm, not gonna lie, i get more nervous when im walking alone and a man of color passes me on the street. but i also get nervous when its a man of any color. the point is a good one, it is something that is culturally bred into us. this is called sociology. also pretty nifty.

and last is number 9….my personal favorite. obama has no experience because he’s been senator of tennessee for 2 years! WOW WOW WOW! this comment alone clearly shows why your friend should not make any further alligations on obama and why you should clearly not repost them. first of all, he is a senator for illinois… big difference there. and secondly, hes been a senator for almost 9 years….  from 1996-2004. then in January of 2005 gained a seat in the U.S. senate. im just stunned at how ridiculously stupid this last one is… i mean wow.

look, i dont mean to bash you…. but im not afraid to throw back what you and others like you are throwing out there without clearly looking this shit up. ya know what, it took me 2 hours to find all this…. thats it. maybe do a little research  before you make completely inaccurate claims such as these. i just wish there werent all these lies about the whole situation… cause no wonder why you people think hes a muslim antichrist from kenya. if i didnt ever look information up for myself i might believe that too. but i know that i cant trust any information presented to me through the TV…. so …. ive made my point i believe, very clearly. look„, this guys your president too. can you imagine what it must have taken for someone that young and black to get where he is?! i mean he graduated from columbia AND harvard. this man is not as ridiculous as the right side media would have you believe.

im proud to call him president, and i hope that someday soon you and your friend will as well.
